About Electric Tattoo, a custom tattoo Hanoi studio since 2011
Electric Tattoo was founded in 2011 by Wolf Nguyễn, who won Best Realistic at Taiwan I Love Tattoo 2018. Our artists have collected 8 awards between them, and Vietnamese artists such as Đen Vâu, 24K Right, Da LAB and Vũ have been tattooed by the team. Every piece is drawn from scratch for you. Nothing is copied.

Booking a custom tattoo Hanoi session, step by step
Here is what usually happens when you book a custom tattoo Hanoi session with us:
- Send your idea: use the booking form, WhatsApp or Zalo. Add reference photos, the size in centimeters and the placement.
- Free consultation: talk it through with the artist. You get a clear price based on size, detail and artist before anything starts.
- Design: simple pieces can be sketched on the spot. Complex designs take 3 to 7 days for 1 to 2 drafts, and we revise until you are happy.
- Deposit and date: a deposit holds your session and comes off the final price.
- The session: the artist explains each step, checks your blood pressure and cleans the skin. A stencil goes on first, then the approved design, with the artist watching your skin the whole time.
- Finish and aftercare: we clean and cover the tattoo, explain how to look after it and send you photos. About a month later, the studio checks in on how it healed.

Custom tattoo Hanoi prices: how much does it cost?
Electric Tattoo uses one pricing formula for every custom tattoo Hanoi client, Vietnamese or foreign. The standard artist rate is 1,800,000–2,200,000 VND per hour (about $69–85). Tattoos under 30 minutes have a flat minimum of 1,000,000 VND (about $38), because every client gets a full new set of needles, ink and sterile tools. We tell you the estimated time before we start, and if the artist takes longer, you don’t pay extra.
Pieces bigger than a mini get one package price for the whole design after the consultation. The work is split into sessions of up to about 7 hours, and you pay session by session. As a guide, a 5 to 6 hour piece runs around 9 to 13.2 million VND (about $345 to $510). Master and award-winning artists charge 3,000,000 to 3,500,000 VND (about $115 to $135) per hour.

Safety and aftercare
Every custom tattoo Hanoi client gets new single-use needles, fresh imported ink and tools sterilized in a medical-grade autoclave. Gloves and barrier film are changed for every client. Our artists are certified.
For the first 72 hours, keep the second skin on. That is the clear, breathable film we put over the tattoo. After that, rinse gently with clean water, pat dry and moisturize up to 3 times a day. Can I walk in?
Not at Pham Ngoc Thach. If you want a small tattoo the same day, walk in at 59C Ly Nam De, near the Old Quarter.
Do foreigners pay more?
