ELECTRIC TATTOO
Stubborn dreams. Bold ideas. Original art.
A studio for people with taste
Electric Tattoo has been open for 15 years and done thousands of tattoos. It’s one of the most trusted names for Vietnam’s celebrities and artists: Đen Vâu, 24K Right, Da LAB, Vũ… the list goes on. Founded by Wolf Nguyễn, who won Best Realistic at Taiwan I Love Tattoo – one of the most respected tattoo competitions in Asia – Electric has also become a must-visit for travelers exploring Hanoi.
At Electric, every tattoo is designed just for you. Nothing is copied. This is real art, not a quick service.

A journey that was never easy
Here’s how it all started. Electric’s story began in 2011, when Wolf Nguyễn – who used to sing under the name Mel G – put down the mic and picked up a needle instead. Nobody thought a design-school graduate could make a living from tattooing. But he kept going, one client at a time, and one late night after another, until 2018 – when he flew to Taiwan and won first place in Taiwan I Love Tattoo. It proved that Vietnamese tattoo artists can compete with the best in Asia.
In 2023, Wolf met Bluezii, a young partner who was just as stubborn and just as in love with original art. Together, they turned Electric from one man with a needle into a real studio – 155 square meters, a full team, and a simple promise: every client, artist or first-timer, feels taken care of. Even through three hard years for the economy, from 2023 to 2025, Electric kept moving forward and welcomed more clients from around the world.
The story keeps going on
In 2026, Electric opened a second studio on Ly Nam De street. It’s a fresh start, but with the same spirit that built Electric in the first place. And that’s the thing about Electric – the story never really stops. Every new client is a new chapter. Every tattoo adds one more page.
Come see the work for yourself. The next chapter might just be yours.
